viewed:, updated:2025-03-05 19:24:00, Author:www.sanhelabel.com
Self-adhesive labels, also known as self-sticking labels, are composite materials with paper, film or special materials as the facestock, adhesive on the back and silicon-coated release paper as the backing. After printing and die-cutting, they become finished labels. Here is a detailed introduction to them:

Features: Self-adhesive labels have the advantages of no need for glue, no need to stick, no need to dip in water, no pollution, and time-saving for labeling. They are convenient and fast to use.

Classification:
Paper self-adhesive labels: Made of ordinary paper materials, they are low-cost and suitable for labeling general commodities such as food and daily necessities. Common types include offset paper, coated paper, glassine paper, and holographic paper.
Film self-adhesive labels: Made of PE, PP, PVC, PET and other film materials, they have the characteristics of water resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and high transparency. They are suitable for labels of cosmetics, beverages, electronic products and other commodities.
Special function self-adhesive labels: Including thermal self-adhesive labels, laser self-adhesive labels, fragile paper self-adhesive labels, removable adhesive self-adhesive labels, etc., they have different special functions and are suitable for different application scenarios.

Structure:
Facestock: It is the carrier of the content of self-adhesive labels and there are various materials available such as coated paper, transparent polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester (PET), kraft paper, etc.
Adhesive: It ensures the proper adhesion between the backing and the facestock, and also guarantees that the facestock can be firmly adhered to the adhered object after being peeled off. There are various types such as general super-strong adhesive and general strong adhesive.
Backing material: Also known as release paper, it has an isolation effect on the adhesive. Commonly used ones include white, blue and yellow glassine paper, kraft paper, etc.

Application fields: They are widely used in packaging, commodities, chemicals, electronics, logistics, medicine, advertising and other industries, and can be used for shipping labels, price labels, medicine labels, storage and transportation labels, anti-counterfeiting labels and other purposes.
