In the functional enhancement processes of
shrink sleeve labels, information traceability is mainly achieved by assigning a unique identification code to each product and using corresponding hardware devices and software systems. The specific steps are as follows:
Assigning unique identification codes: Each shrink sleeve label is assigned a unique identifier, such as a QR code, barcode, or RFID tag. Among them, QR codes can store a large amount of information, including the production batch, production date, raw material source, production process, and quality inspection results of the product; barcodes are relatively simple and mainly used for quickly identifying basic product information; RFID tags have the advantages of non-contact reading and reusability, enabling more efficient information collection and traceability.
Data collection and entry: During the production process of the product, scanning devices or sensors are installed at various key points to scan the identification codes of the products, and collect relevant production data such as raw material input, production time, production equipment, and operator information. These data are then promptly entered into the traceability information system. For highly automated production lines, data can be automatically associated with product identifiers through sensors, reducing manual intervention and improving the accuracy and timeliness of the data.
Data storage and management: A unified traceability information system is established to store and manage all collected traceability information. This system should have a complete data storage function to ensure the secure storage of traceability information and be able to regularly clean and archive data to maintain the system's operational efficiency. Additionally, the system should support multi-terminal data synchronization and data sharing and interaction with other existing enterprise management systems, such as ERP systems and MES systems, to avoid information silos.
Information query and traceability: Consumers or relevant personnel can scan the identification code on the shrink sleeve label and use mobile apps, websites, and other platforms to query detailed product information, achieving traceability of the product from raw material procurement, production processing to finished product sales. Internal departments of the enterprise can also query traceability information based on work needs and according to the principle of permission management, so that they can quickly locate problem areas and take corresponding measures when quality issues arise.
